Numismatics & Philately II

A well-stamped collection!
Last month, we discussed medals with philatelic themes. So, we thought we’d stay on the same course and discuss philatelic numismatic covers (PNCs) this time.
PNCs are special collectible envelopes. Whether we call them covers or envelopes, we’re sure you’ve guessed the idea behind this special mailing for collectors.
These often elaborately illustrated covers are issued by a country to mark a special event, an anniversary, or a commemoration. They are numbered, usually cancelled, and contain a coin (or a medal) and an official stamp associated with the occasion in question.
